Our Institute has designed and contracted to build over 300 projects in relation to cableway and steel-rope traction, accounting for nearly half of the national number of passenger ropeway, and we have been dominating domestic market for a long time. Our products are sold to Asia, Africa and other countries and districts. At the same time, we also provide whole-process technical consultation services for over 50 imported ropeway projects.

As our competitive product, the circulating aerial mono-ropeway with detachable grip which has went through eight years of experimental development and passed the national acceptance. Now it has been applied to more than 40 scenic spots such as Xikou of Fenghua, Jianmenguan of Guangyuan, Wanlong Ski Resort, Emei Mountain and Qingdao Expo Garden. At present, nearly 20 aerial ropeways with detachable grip are under construction, indicating good marketing prospect.

In our Institute, presently there are over 70 technicians specialized in cable car. The affiliated professional equipment factory of our Institute has mastered core technologies in all respects of cable car with the most comprehensive experience in the design, manufacturing and construction of cable car, representing the overall development level of Chinese cable car industry. Furthermore, we have been responsible for drafting a number of current national standards and industry standards concerning passenger ropeway.
